I FIND THE AGED AND BATTERED OBJECTS employed in much assemblage and collage to be both beautiful and moving, but weary that these art mediums can so often take themselves too seriously. I try to tweak that agenda and make works that are more accessible by evoking frivolous imagery from our collective consciousness. |
